Raymond "Mark" Strzelecki was born in November 1953 and raised in Phoenixville, PA, the son of Raymond and Barbara Strzelecki. He graduated from Phoenixville High School class of 1971, where he excelled in varsity basketball and football. Upon graduation, he attended Bucknell University where he earned both his Bachelors degree in education and later his Masters in Administration. While at Bucknell he lettered in football in 1972, 1974, & 1975, and was an undergraduate assistant on the football staff in 1976.

Mark was hired as a History Teacher and Assistant Football Coach at Troy High School in 1977. After 3 seasons as an assistant, he was named Head Football Coach at Troy in 1980. After winning only 1 football game in his first season, he went on tp compile a record of 64 wins over the next 9 seasons. During his 10 year career, he led the Trojans to 3 NTL Titles, and the school’s first undefeated season and District IV Championship in 1988. His .678 winning percentage was first among NTL coaches during the decade of the 1980's.

Mark retired from coaching in 1990, but went on to serve the Troy Area School District for a total of 33 years as a teacher, Athletic Director, Assistant Principal, and eventually, as High School Principal, before retiring in 2010. He passed away in February 2021.
