The District IV Football Coaches Association is pleased to announce that UPMC Orthopaedic Care is now the new title sponsor for the annual North-South All-Star game.
When the Coaches Association brought back the all-star game after a two-year hiatus last season following the COVID-19 pandemic, UPMC sponsored the North team. Now, they will sponsor both North and South teams.
"UPMC Orthopaedic Care treats hundreds of high-school athletes throughout the region and we take great pride in being a part of the District IV Football Coaches Association All-Star Game," said Seth Kinley, director of Operations, Practice Management, UPMC Orthopaedics Care. "With the game coming to our backyard this year with the teams playing at Williamsport High School, this opportunity is a great way for UPMC to show our support and commitment to the high school programs locally as well as in all the regions we serve. We are excited to welcome the athletes, coaches, family members and fans, and be a part of this event highlighting some of the most talented athletes from District IV."
President Justin Van Fleet added, "We are incredibly proud to partner with UPMC in order to host this year's District IV Coaches Association All-Star game here at beautiful STA Stadium in Williamsport. Working with so many individuals who are committed to our community, and especially the young people in our community, is a humbling experience for which I am eternally grateful. UPMC taking sole sponsorship of both teams and naming rights this year was a tremendous gift to the football community as well as to the Coaches Association, as we were in a complex situation with sponsorship this past winter. All organizations are tight financially at the moment. For UPMC to step up and sponsor the game as well as both teams is a testament to the vision and leadership of their health group."
Kickoff of this year's game is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. from Williamsport High School's STA Stadium. Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for kids.
