Eiswerth, Smith Named As Head Coaches For 2024 All-Star Game

South Williamsport's Chris Eiswerth and Central Columbia's EJ Smith will be the head coaches for the 2024 District IV North-South All-Star Football game. Eiswerth will coach the North team while Smith will lead the South squad.
This year's game takes place on Friday, June 21 at Central Columbia's Blue Jay Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. At halftime the Coaches Association's Hall of Fame Class of 2024, which will be announced in the coming weeks, will be enshrined.
Eiswerth has spent the last 13 seasons at South Williamsport, compiling 103 wins and 8 championships. He has coached the Mounties to two state semi-finals, is the program's all-time wins leader, and is being inducted into the Mountie Hall of Fame this year. He was also named Class 1A Coach of the Year by the Pennsylvania Football Sportswriters.
"I am very excited and blessed to be coaching the game this year," said Eiswerth. "It is a tremendous opportunity for kids to play one more game and build some great memories."
Smith has been coaching for 16 years since being hired back in 2008 by Berwick's Gary Campbell. Smith played at Berwick from 1998-2000 under the late George Curry before attending at playing at King's College. Smith was hired at Central Columbia in 2016 as Defensive Coordinator before being hired as head coach in 2022.
