
Majer, Wecker Set To Lead This Year's D4 All-Star Game Squads

Danville's Carl Majer and Towanda's Jamie Wecker have been selected to coach this year's District IV UPMC North-South All-Star game. Majer will coach the South team and Wecker will guide the North.
This year's all-star game takes place on Friday, June 20 at the Endless Mountain Athletic Complex in Towanda. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. At halftime the Coaches Association's Hall of Fame Class of 2025, which will be announced in the coming weeks, will be enshrined.
Majer took over at Danville in 2023 and has guided the Ironmen to a 25-3 (.893) record. In 2023 the Ironmen made it to the PIAA Class 3A quarterfinals. Last year, they were defeated by eventual state champion Northwestern Lehigh in the Eastern semi-finals. Majer has also spent eight years at Northwest Area, amassing a 55-35 (.611) record.
Wecker took over as head coach for the Black Knights from 2012-2015 then returned to the role last season, where he's compiled a 27-28 (.491) record.
