Despite being out-gained 320-282 in total offense, the UPMC North All-Star hung on to defeat the UPMC South All-Stars, 20-16, in the 2025 UPMC North-South All-Star game at Towanda's Endless Mountains Athletic Complex.

The game came down to the final possession with the South having a chance for the walk-off victory with 45 seconds remaining. Starting at their own 24, Danville's Madden Patrick connected with Warrior Run's Samuel Hall on back-to-back passes to work down to the North 33. After an incomplete pass from Patrick on 1st down the South called time out with a handful of time left on the clock. Montoursville's Landon Morehart made the game's final play for the North, sacking Patrick as time expired to preserve the North's four-point victory and their second straight win.

The North took the game's opening lead with 7:48 remaining in the second quarter as Williamsport's Kyreek Bradshaw hauled in a 20-yard pass from Jersey Shore's Elijah Jordan. The South wasted little time, 25 seconds in fact, to time the game up as Patrick and Hall connected on a 24-yard pass, knotting the game up at 7-all with 7:23 left to play in the opening half.

The South took the lead as time expired in the half as Warrior Run's Gavin Hunter booted a 32-yard field goal, making it 10-7.

A 2nd Hunter field goal, this time a 27-yarder, with 6:06 remaining in the 3rd increased the South's lead to 13-7, however the North answered on their ensuing drive as Jordan found Williamsport's Samir Williams for 74 yards to tie the game up at 13.

The game remained tied at 13-all until Hunter converted his third field goal of the night from 25 yards out to put the South back up, 16-13.

Then with 4:21 remaining, Towanda's Riley Vanderpool scored the game-winning touchdown on a 12-yard run followed by an Evan Snyder (Jersey Shore) kick.

Jordan was named the Russ Manney Most Outstanding Player, throwing for 94 yards and a pair of scores and rushing for 77 yards on the ground. Williamsport's Kahyear Whaley finished with 53 yards on 10 carries and teammate Jamel Bailey had 44 yards on 5 attempts. Williams received the Ken Robbins North Offensive Player of the Game with his 74 yard score.

Patrick finished with 207 yards on 12-of-25 passing with a touchdown, earning the Jazz Diminick South Offensive Player of the Game award. Lewisburg's Jeremiah Davis rushed 13 times for 54 yards and Hall caught 9 passes for 159 yards and a score.

Towanda's Varrius Farrell finished with 3 tackles and a sack to earn the Ray Raffin North Defensive Player of the Game award while Northwest Area's Trevor Dietz had an interception to receive the Bill Scott South Defensive Player of the Game award.

Morehart and Wellsboro's Ryder Bowen received the Jack Young North Coaches Awards and Mount Carmel's Ben Miller and Northwest Area's Jace McCoy took home the Max Shnyder South Coaches Awards.
